Upgrading eduDroid.

On release of the latest upgrade apk, we will email you with a download path. To install the upgrade on each device:

  1. Login to http://yourserverip/eduDroid/updates and upload the upgrade.
  2. Select ''Update Ready'' from the eduDroid main menu on your devices to download the upgrade from your server. This will start the install automatically.
  3. We recommend only doing a few devices at a time, so you do not overload your wireless system.

Note: On occasion, we may also require you to update your server files. Instructions for this will also be included in the upgrade e-mail.

Other things to note:

  • Ensure the php_curl extension is installed and turned on.
  • Set post_max_size to 50M in your php.ini file as our update system uploads the whole apk.

On IIS:

  • Add a MIME Type as
    File Name Extension: .apk
    MIME Type: application/vnd.android.package-archive
  • Also disable compression.
